A compact high-power Ni-Cd range for railway auxiliary power, emergency backup, electromagnetic braking and engine starting. Cycle durability and temperature performance are evaluated against the vehicle duty profile.
Technical selection
Selection follows the vehicle duty profile, load current, autonomy, operating temperature, charging system and installation requirements. Battery format, protection, connections and maintenance access are coordinated with the vehicle interfaces.
Maintenance and lifecycle
Inspection, testing and maintenance follow the selected manufacturer’s instructions and site operating procedures. EKA System evaluates installation, commissioning, service access and lifecycle support as part of the project.
