Product description
The Battery Monitoring System (BMS) is a modular solution tracking stationary UPS and DC batteries at cell or block level. The ALPAIS BMS reference architecture brings VRLA, flooded lead-acid (VLA) and Ni-Cd electrical and thermal measurements into one platform.
Individual voltage, temperature and internal-resistance monitoring helps assess deviations not visible in total string voltage. Recording branch voltage, current and charge/discharge events allows operating conditions to be reviewed alongside historical data.
Web software displays real-time measurements, alarms and periodic reports. Maintenance teams can track changing values and prioritise inspection using concrete data.
Modular System Structure
- Battery Module (BATMOD): measures voltage, temperature and internal resistance of each cell or block.
- String Module (STRMOD): collects battery-module data and monitors string voltage, current and charge/discharge status.
- Control Module (CONMOD): centrally manages data and communication between monitoring software and external systems.
Remote Monitoring and Alarm Management
Measurements and history can be reviewed over the local network or remote access, depending on installation. Configurable thresholds and email notifications help teams track abnormal conditions.
PDF/CSV reports, user permission levels and multi-site monitoring through one interface support operations and maintenance.
