Product description

Active current sharing, automatic float/boost management, temperature compensation, battery capacity testing and LVD control are supported by the selected controller and system hardware. SMU01 provides Modbus TCP/IP, SNMP and web configuration, with more than 10,000 alarm and data records. Available output current depends on voltage, input conditions and temperature. The Turkish introduction mentions an internal isolation transformer; its voltage, power and connection details are not established by the module datasheets and must be confirmed in the final system documentation.

The controller coordinates load supply and battery charging on the same DC bus. Continuous load and battery recharge current must be assessed together; the current rating is not available separately to both. Charging voltage and current limits must match the battery chemistry, cell count and manufacturer instructions. Hot-swap servicing requires suitable rack hardware and safe operating procedures.

Applications

  • Telecommunications and remote communication sites
  • Industrial DC control and automation
  • Power generation, substation communication and telemetry
  • Battery-backed DC systems with compatible voltage and charging requirements
